Lenny Dave
Creatively challenged? Idea impaired? Stop accepting the tired excuse, “But, we’ve always done it this way!” After listening to and working with Lenny, you’ll clearly understand his mantra, “There is always more than one right answer!”
Lenny is a veteran speaker and skilled facilitator whose mission is to help students and campus organizations move forward by emphasizing the fundamental concepts of creative leadership and wellness. Lenny’s fun, motivational keynotes and workshops energize, inform and entertain a wide range of audiences – from college student leaders to corporate executives to wellness support groups and ‘active seniors.’
Campus Activities Magazine has twice nominated Lenny as “Speaker of the Year.” He is also the recipient of 14 NACA and APCA Showcases. Lenny is co-author of two books, “Let Your Leadership Speak: How to Lead and Be Heard” and “Choose Courage Over Fear: Decisions That Determine Your Destiny.”
Lenny’s popular Parent Orientation program, “The Art of College Parenting” helps to prepare new college Moms and Dads for the journey that lies ahead. This interactive and highly educational presentation keeps parents and students laughing, interacting, and engaged. “It’s an energetic and fun experience. We bring Lenny back every summer!” (Lone Star College, TX)
Meanwhile, “Diversity Unmasked: Clown!” is Lenny’s award-winning program that opens the door for spirited discussion about bias, stereotype, prejudice and discrimination. Whether as a stand-alone program or as a module in a leadership workshop, find out why this valuable learning experience is worth bringing to your campus – and not just in February!
A staunch supporter of the Greek movement, Lenny has served his fraternity at the local, regional and national level, as well as serving on its professional staff. Lenny helps sorority and fraternity members learn how to become more creative thinkers and better leaders so they can move their individual chapters and Greek “communities” forward.
While Lenny’s message is serious, he is a big believer in the philosophy that learning can be and should be fun! The philosopher Henry David Thoreau once observed, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation.” Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to Lenny’s life, as he has come to realize a “dream-come-true” not once… but three times! What are they? You’ll have to ask Lenny!
